glenmoor by the sea is a tranquil escape with cozy, clean cabins and private decks perfect for soaking up the sun. it’s ideally located near camden and rockland, making it easy to explore. millicent and renato provide exceptional hospitality, making you feel right at home. i loved unwinding around the fire pit with friends after a long day.

my stay in an oceanfront cottage was incredible, with stunning views and a serene atmosphere that made relaxing so easy. It was just a short walk to both Lincolnville Beach and Camden Hills State Park, perfect for weekend strolls and enjoying nature.

The homemade blueberry and cinnamon scones were the highlight of breakfast, and the bonfire evenings provided a perfect family bonding moment under the stars.

During my stay, I booked the King Room Balcony for 4 nights. The room was spacious, featuring a large bathroom and a private balcony with beautiful views of the property. It was refreshing to receive breakfast delivered at my specified time, including warm scones and fresh fruit, which made mornings enjoyable. The atmosphere was peaceful, complemented by a lovely outdoor area perfect for activities, such as lawn games and enjoying the ocean scenery.

The peaceful atmosphere and cozy cabins with private decks were perfect for unwinding. I particularly enjoyed the lovely outdoor areas for activities, like frisbee golf, making it a fun escape!

WiFi was a challenge. weak signals affected planning excursions and keeping in touch. Breakfast could have had more variety, as I found myself wishing for different options after a few days.

Cell service for ATT and Verizon was weak in certain areas, with WiFi in the cabin barely holding a signal. Breakfast delivery for hot items may lack variety, often featuring the same frittatas.

We hiked up Mt. Battie for stunning views and loved exploring the sandy shores of the local beach. The on-site shop was a nice touch, stocking drinks and snacks. The bonfire evenings were perfect for connecting with others and making memories.

One thing to note is that breakfast options could use a bit more variety. we got a bit tired of the same frittatas each morning.

Recommend for a momentary pause

Everything was great.

The suite was spacious with cool exposed wooden beams and a huge bathroom that felt luxurious. The bed was super comfy, making it easy to unwind after a long day. I loved the private deck for morning coffee with great views of the grounds. Just wish the chaise lounge in the living area was more comfortable—definitely not ideal for watching TV. But overall, it was a cozy spot to relax.

We had a blast hiking up Mt. Battie with our five teenagers, soaking in the amazing views of Camden Harbor from the top. The cabin setup made it perfect for our large family, giving us space while enjoying morning coffee on the deck and a fire pit in the evenings.

My kids wished for more breakfast options.
